At Freeloft, our vision is the empowerment of people by promoting the use of Free Software. But the point is, why Free Software are not as popular among the people than their proprietary counterparts. Aren't they as good, just because they are free? Definitely not. The answer is FOSS ignorance. People are ignorant about the presence of Free Software and the Freedom which they empower the users with.

We need to Fight FOSS Ignorance. We believe the best way to fight ignorance is education. Education is a lamp which lightens up every path and eradicates the darkness of ignorance. So, we have come up with a FOSS Education Programme for the young bright minds of the country. We intend to make people aware about FOSS and then let them decide for themselves which path the want to take, the seemingly pleasant and comfortable path of proprietary slavery, or trudging in the path leading to Freedom - the path of Free Software.
